For our 24th season, we will be producing three full-scale productions. We are thrilled to continue working on bigger and better productions thanks to your support. With our strong success last season, we are hungry to continue to entice and include everyone back into the arts.
All in the Timing
T. Molly Mollicone brings her sharp comedic instincts and inventive directorial style to All in the Timing, David Ives’s celebrated collection of absurd, fast‑paced one‑act plays. This production features three of Ives’s most iconic works — Sure Thing, The Universal Language, and The Philadelphia — each offering its own hilarious twist on communication, connection, and the strange logic of human interaction.
Performances run November 18–20 at Sadlier House in Peterborough, Ontario. Join us for a night of smart, surprising comedy that showcases the best of David Ives’s theatrical brilliance.
All profits from ticket sales for the Anne Shirley Theatre Company go directly back into financing our productions and events. Anne Shirley Theatre Company is a not-for-profit student organization at Trent University, registered as a levy group with the Trent Central Student Association.

- Sure Thing — Two strangers meet in a café and navigate a minefield of conversational missteps, each “reset” bringing them closer to an unexpected spark.
- The Universal Language — Dawn, a young woman with a stutter, encounters Don, the eccentric creator of Unamunda, a wild comic language that transforms their ability to connect.
- The Philadelphia — A man finds himself trapped in a surreal, Twilight Zone‑like state where nothing is quite what it seems — especially in a restaurant that refuses to behave normally.
